Saving Our Sisters, Inc is a 501c)3 nonprofit organization with a volunteer staff that provides housing and support services in Maryland for women who have become homeless, unemployed, uninsured and in many cases unable to care for their children as a result of drug and alcohol abuse. We recognize addiction as a devastating disease that plagues women and their children. We also know addiction is treatable, and lifelong recovery is possible with the proper support.
Last year, a Maryland State Agency had bake sales, sold dinners and raffle tickets on our behalf, then donated the proceeds and gifts to Saving Our Sisters. Church groups donated a microwave, toaster, clothing, and personal care items.
Our wish list this year includes; gift cards, twin sheet sets, pillow cases, toiletries, toilet tissue, coffee, non perishable food items, 12 step working guides, stamps, journals, and volunteers. All financial contributions will be used to provide housing accommodations, support services and personal items for residents of Saving Our Sisters, Inc.
Gifts can be dropped off or picked up at your convenience.
